1. Direct From Farm Logistics

Unlike traditional groceries that sit in warehouses for days, FarmGo operates a “Harvest-to-Order” model. When you purchase produce, the farmer receives the order, harvests the crop, packs it, and dispatches it directly to you. This guarantees maximum nutritional value and freshness.

2. Delivery Timelines

Because we wait for harvest, shipping timelines depend on the specific harvest windows indicated on the product listings:

• Harvest-to-Delivery Window: Once harvested, crops are dispatched immediately and typically reach your doorstep within 12 to 24 hours.
• Scheduled Deliveries: You can select a preferred delivery slot during checkout (e.g. morning 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM or evening 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM) matching the day the farmer is scheduled to dispatch to your sector.

3. Service Coverage Areas

We currently offer delivery services in Pune, Mumbai, Nashik, and select parts of Maharashtra. We are expanding to other metro areas soon. You can verify if delivery is available for your pin code using the location tool inside the app.

4. Shipping and Handling Charges

Shipping fees are calculated based on the distance between the farm and your location, order weight, and transport constraints:

• Standard Shipping: Charged at a nominal rate (starting at ₹39) depending on distance.
• Free Delivery: All orders which delivered next day morning qualify for free shipping.
• On Demand or 1hr Delivery: For on-demand or 1 hour delivery orders, a convenience fee of ₹49 is applied to maintain the cold integrity.

5. Consignment Tracking

All orders can be tracked in real-time within the FarmGo app. Once the delivery agent collects the items from the farm, you will receive an SMS notification and can view the live GPS location of the driver on our map.

6. Buyer Responsibilities

Since fresh farm items degrade quickly if left in hot weather, buyers must ensure someone is present to collect the order at the designated address during the delivery slot. If no one is available, our delivery agent will attempt to call you and, with your consent, leave the parcel with a security desk or neighbor.
